my house of the week has already gone!

I helped a lovely family get their house ready for sale a little while ago, they were a real pleasure to work with and basically all I needed to do was add some ideas, colour and a few pieces of furniture to their already lovely home.What a difference colour can make and a few statement pieces - it really takes a place to WOW! Anyway, to cut a long story short, the house was sold after the first open for inspection, they actually received three offers!!! AMAZING!!!! Take a look, doesn't it look fabulous.

over the last couple of weeks I have been lucky enough to work on some magnificent homes doing what I love best! I leave some of these spaces with some serious house envy, and lots of feel good vibes - I love helping my clients transform their spaces..............

Luxury Retreat - House of the Week!

This is Bills Track - a luxury four bedroom home that happens to be owned by one of my close friends.  This place ooozes style. I remember walking into this house for the first time and saying - who needs to go away on a girls weekend, when we can come here and send the boys and kids away! - it has the most fantastic pool and deck area and although I did very little to get this house looking like this - all credit goes to the owner, I am sure you will agree she has a great eye for colour and detail.  I love the light fittings over the dinning table - shopped from here. House of the week - this one's a winner!

I spotted this house for sale and made an instant connection, in my opinion it's a winner - it does everything it is suppose to do - its very appealing to the buyer - exactly what you want to do when you put your house on the market - its up for Auction this weekend - keep an eye on it - I think its going to be a winner!Great Art (David Bromley), great Lighting, dressed but not overly done and yet not sterile either - perfect!

a couple of weeks ago I got to go through this home and offer the owners some advise on getting it ready for sale - it was built by its owner and it was full of colour and personality. The owners were a young couple with 4 young children, the mother was super stylish and a little quirky, to be quite honest I did not have much advise to pass onto her, as I entered every room my eyes were darting and my mind was boggling - there was so much personality to take in - little treasures everywhere, the shape, the feel, it really left a lasting impression on me.  They had some beautiful furniture pieces, I especially liked the cabinet in the bathroom. I also loved the mix of coloured chairs in the kitchen/dining and the tea cup and saucer down lights above the kitchen bench - you can just see them in the link above. I guess the moral to this post is - inject some of yourself into your home - choose things you love or have some meaning, believe me you can make them work.
