something wonderful happened to me last night. I went to the NMIT 2010 Design, Drafting and Interior Fittings Exhibition and Awards night. I have never been to one before and I really wanted to go to see what it was like and to see some of the high standards of work. I really had another reason to go too, my teacher, Julia said that she would have our assignments marked and we would also get our end of year result. My first priority was to get my portfolio back and then I would make my way to the exhibition. But my portfolio was not there, as you can imagine, I wasn't very happy. I thought she may have left it at home or worse still, lost it!!!!!
but to my very pleasant surprise my portfolio was being exhibited, my work had been chosen as one of the top two students!!!! I left the exhibition walking on cloud nine.........and I finished the year with a High Distinction, what more could a girl ask for???????

My Green Living kitchen plan was inspired by famous chef and Restaurateur Kylie Kwong, and her passion for cooking for family and friends, whilst only using the freshest produce available. I was lucky enough to see her speaking at the Abbotsford Convent with my good friend Lisa.
She also believes that the kitchen should be the centre piece of every home, and its not just the meal that is important but the whole process, growing, sourcing and serving.
I think it is time to put my feet up and enjoy the festive season! xxoo
A big CONGRATS! to you - well done clever girl, you deserve it.
ReplyDeleteKylie, you are amazing and totally deserving of all the allocades! Well done! Time to relax and chill out before next year.
